As a Postpartum Doula, I have supported over 50 families as they welcomed their newborns and transitioned into their lives as parents. I am certified through Doula Trainings International and have 6 years of training and education around newborn care, breastfeeding support, maternal support, and baby-wearing.
I began my work in Brooklyn, NY where both my children were born, and where I supported many families with a variety of needs, circumstances, and goals. In 2023 I moved with my family to Chicago's North Shore suburbs and am now serving families in the Winnetka, Wilmette, Glencoe, and Kenilworth areas.
My goal is to help parents of newborns care for and bond with their babies while supporting birthing people as they heal from childbirth. As your postpartum doula, I will meet with you during pregnancy to discuss the types of support you may already have in place and how I can help fill the gaps in your postpartum care. I can support you in your goals around breast/chestfeeding, bonding, sleep, and other challenges that arise after the birth of a baby.
Prior to becoming a doula, I worked as a writer, editor, and journalist, researching and reporting on a variety of topics, including reproductive health and navigating parenthood.
With two children of my own, I identify as a mother, and I support expecting parents and birthing people of all gender expressions and identities. My training is rooted in reproductive justice and intersectional birth advocacy. To that end, I give a percentage of my annual earnings to organizations supporting birth justice and anti-racist efforts.
I look forward to connecting with you and discussing how I can help support your postpartum and new parent journey.
